Burns Cooley Dennis, Inc. (BCD) provided geotechnical engineering and construction testing services for the new Mercedes-Benz facility which opened in November 2017 on a 10-acre site immediately southeast of the intersection of the I-55 North Frontage Road and Steed Road in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The distinctive facility includes an approximately 70,000-square-foot main building, a car detailing shop, and a large parking lot.  BCD’s services included exploratory soil borings, laboratory testing, and engineering recommendations for earthwork, building foundation and pavement.
