BCD was honored to be the recipient of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Mississippi (ACEC-MS) 2018 Engineering Excellence Grand Conceptor Award at the annual ACEC-MS awards banquet on March 8th. The award was in recognition of BCD’s outstanding geotechnical and construction materials engineering and testing services provided to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History during construction of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum in Jackson, Mississippi.
The design team for this once-in-a-lifetime project included BCD along with ECD (a joint venture of Eley Guild Hardy Architects, Cooke Douglass Farr Lemons Architects & Engineers, P.A., and Dale Partners Architects), Perkins+Will and Spencer-Engineers, Inc.
